I’m New

Welcome!

We Gather Every Sunday at 9/10:30

Our church is a place where you can connect with God, grow in your faith, and build meaningful relationships with others. We are a community of faith committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ in a way that is inclusive, compassionate, and transformative.

The Iversons at Lent

We've made great friends and enjoy the focus on faith and spirituality and being involved in the neighboring community.

Our faith is more than what happens on Sunday—it’s about growing spiritually, connecting with our church family, and living out God’s love in our community. We’re grateful our daughter gets to grow up surrounded by people who love God and love people.

Welcome!

It's about Connecting

Connection is at the very heart of who we are: connecting with God, connecting with our church family, and connecting with the community around us. We inspire growth in relationships, unselfishly provide service, and develop a genuine love for people.

What to Expect

Plan Your Visit

Come visit our church and experience a welcoming community, uplifting worship, and a message of hope and love.

On Sunday morning at church, you can expect a time of worship, prayer, and a message from the Bible that will inspire and challenge you, as well as an opportunity to connect with other members of the community.  At 9am, we have a Traditional United Methodist Church worship service in our Sanctuary.  At 10:30am, we offer our Rock Solid Contemporary worship service in our Fellowship Hall.  Refreshments are available during or after thee worship service.

On Sunday mornings, you’ll be greeted at our front door.  Greeters will make your first connection at the door, answer questions and direct visitors and members to the Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall, restrooms, nursery, coat room, etc. Ushers are available to assist visitors or members inside the Sanctuary (if necessary) or Fellowship Hall.

After the service starts and announcements, there is a brief ‘connection time’ to say hello to everyone.

The Pastor makes an effort to say hello and welcome you after the service; also, please reach out to others around you.

A newcomers class at our church is designed to provide an introduction to our community, our beliefs, and our values. This class is typically offered to anyone who is new to our church and interested in learning more about what we stand for and how we operate. contact the Office to learn more: (219) 838-4770.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for people with special needs. We believe that everyone is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

To that end, we have implemented a range of measures to ensure that people with special needs feel supported and included in our community. For example:

  • We have a team of trained volunteers who are available to provide one-on-one support and assistance to people with special needs during services and events.
  • Our facilities are designed to be accessible to people with mobility impairments, with wheelchair ramps, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms.
  • We offer special programs and activities for people with special needs, such as sensory-friendly services, adaptive Sunday school classes, and inclusive small group meetings.
  • We are constantly seeking feedback from people with special needs and their families to ensure that we are meeting their needs and providing the best possible support.
