Volunteer Positions

Ridge UMC currently, has volunteer opportunities for the following positions:

 

Greeters

• Greeters make the first connection at the door, answers questions and directs visitors and members to the Sanctuary, restrooms, nursery, coat room, etc.

Ushers

• Ushers assist the visitor or member inside the Sanctuary (if necessary), distribute the bulletins, count attendance and pass the offering plate.

Liturgists

• Liturgists recite the Call to Worship, read an offertory prayer, and present the selected Scripture to the congregation.

Tech Team

• No experience necessary / will train. 

• Tech Team members support worship services by managing: microphones, cameras, sound board, slides, computers, livestream, social media and our website.

Communion Delivery

• Communion Delivery Stewards take communion to shut-ins, people that live a distance from the church or folks that are unable to get to the church on a regular basis.
